September 10th, 2025 – Ourvita, a global leader in contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) for food supplements, medical devices, cosmetics, and probiotics, has announced the acquisition of HBI Health & Beauty Innovations (“HBI”) from DCC plc. Ourvita is indirectly owned by funds advised by Investindustrial.
HBI stands as a premier CDMO serving food supplements and beauty products, with manufacturing facilities in the UK, US, and Austria. Renowned for its commitment to quality, service, and innovation, HBI operates 8 state-of-the-art sites and caters to a diversified, long-standing customer base.
The combination of Ourvita and HBI creates one of Europe’s largest and most diversified CDMOs in the health & wellness market, now with a global footprint across 15 world-class manufacturing facilities in Europe, the US, and Asia, serving over 120 markets and generating more than €650 million in annual turnover.
